Exporting Data to CSV files
Export to CSV
Data can be exported in CSV format so you can keep records or develop your own reports in applications like Excel.
To export the data, set the times you need in the main window, and select File->Export to CSV from the menu.
You can choose from 3 levels of detail:
- Summary. This is the detail shown in the top half of the TimeSprite window. It shows total time by group during the time period.
- Details. This is equivalent to the level of detail shown in the bottom half of the TimeSprite window. It shows the total time for each window title recorded during the time period. The group that the window was assigned to is also included.
- Raw data. This is the raw data recorded by TimeSprite. Window titles and actual times are listed. The group assigned by TimeSprite is included for each entry so you can use it if you are developing your own reports.
